How many treatments will I need?

Botox and fillers are not a single time treatment. They will require maintenance. The first time you perform Botox you will need a second treatment usually 4 months later. And then possibly every six months. However, at Karmalite, we also offer LaserBotox in which we combine laser treatments with Botox. This will reverse the wrinkles by rebuilding the collagen in your face.

Can I return to normal activities after treatments?

You should be able to return to most of your activities without a problem.

It typically takes Botox a week to show results. However, fillers are evident immediately.

Schedule a follow-up appointment two weeks after the procedure. Vigorously rubbing or massaging the treated area and extreme heat should be avoided for at least a month.

What happens when Botox wears off? Can I undergo treatment again?

The muscle activity should return to its original state when the Botox wears off. Once wrinkles reappear patients can have Botox again.

The viscosity of products also varies, with thicker formulas being used for the face and more liquid forms being used for under the eyes.

Depending on the type of filler used, as well as its placement and patient lifestyle, the results of a treatment can last between several months to 2 years. Over time, the ingredients are flushed out of the body.
